Recording a Voiceover on Your Phone

• Record in a small soft room — a closet or a car is genuinely better than a big empty office.
• Hold the phone slightly below your mouth and off to one side so your breath doesn't hit the mic.
• Record the whole script in one file rather than sentence by sentence — it's much easier to sync.
• If you fumble a line, pause for two seconds and say it again. We'll cut to the clean take.
• Send the voiceover as a separate file and tell us roughly what should be on screen while each part plays.
